I Scream You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream!
The highly anticipated start to this year’s Kids’ Club is quickly approaching and we’re excited to announce that the annual kick-off will be held Sunday, September 12 at McLaughlin Park at 6pm. We’ll have an ice cream social and lots of fun games for
the kiddos (think three-legged races, gunny sacks and even a few parent/child competitions). We hope it will be fun “treat” for the entire family.

Forgiveness is much easier to preach than it is to practice. Although Jesus urges us to not hold grudges and to forgive those who have wronged us, often it is not easy to let go when someone has hurt us very deeply. We say we forgive them, but we don’t always mean it from our hearts. Sometimes we may wonder if we can ever forgive a certain person.

Every Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. September 14 thru October 19.
This class is open to all men and young men who want to learn the principles of Biblical Leadership. This class is an excellent introduction to those who might aspire to be preachers, elders, and deacons in the local church. It will also give those who currently serve as elders or deacons fresh insight into the calling of God on their lives. This class is not restricted to VCCC only, but is open to every man in any church. Please let your friends and relatives know that they are invited to attend these life-changing sessions. Christ in Youth is an organization that specializes in creating events and conferences for young adults to explore many different aspects of Christian life and encourages them to grow and maintain steady, personal relationships with Jesus Christ our Lord, the local church, family, and community. This year, a group of 8 students from VCCC and 3 students from Council Grove decided to attend the CIY Move event in Carbondale, Illinois.
