Spiritual Life week is for you! Occasionally the church will provide special services as an outreach opportunity. Seldom does the church provide special opportunities for the spiritual Growth and Health of Christians. Spiritual life week is designed with you and your needs in mind! Please commit now to join us every evening, and invite your Christian friends. Denominational background or church affiliation are of no concern to us. We will not try to proselytize anyone! But every member, in any church, will benefit from this opportunity to spiritually grow! Gary Zustiak will preach on Monday evening. Gary is a dynamic minister of the Word! He holds an earned Doctorate in Psychology and Counseling, and is in much demand as a speaker on the national circuit. He will be preaching about the Grace of Christ as the remedy to Sin in the Believer’s Life. When I was a beginning preacher, Gary and his wife Mary would visit our little church. He would take notes on the sermon, and then meet with me to help me improve my preaching. He has been a great mentor to me! Jeff Isaccs will be preaching on Tuesday evening. Jeff is the lead pastor at Riverlawn Christian Church. He stepped into a difficult ministry, but God has blessed him with wisdom and ability. RCC is a vibrant and growing church. Jeff is an anointed preacher of the word of God. He is a family man who exemplifies what a Christian husband/father ought to look like. He is a ferocious basketball player. You will be blessed as he preaches on the Lordship of Christ. On Wednesday evening I will be preaching on the Spirit filled Life. The solution to a humdrum spiritual life is to be found in the fulfilling and the filling of the Holy Spirit. You will notice the progression in this series of sermons. After sin and Lordship issues are settled, Spirit filling is a primary concern. Kevin Ingram, president of Manhattan Christian College, will be preaching of the role of the Holy Spirit in the church. Kevin is one of the best preachers I have ever heard! He is also a good friend of mine who holds me up often in prayer. I believe that God’s message to us through Kevin will be a milestone event in the life of the Christian. Mark Scott was my preaching professor at Ozark Christian College. What a great blessing he has been to me! He is an outstanding preacher, who has a depth of insight into the scripture that is Holy Spirit inspired. Mark will be preaching on Evangelism and Outreach on Thursday Evening. Brent McCrory is the preaching minister at New Life Christian Church in Emporia. I am so pleased to count him as my friend and counselor. He is a humble man who wants Jesus to have first place in his life. He and his wife, Melissa, are expecting a baby boy in April, who will join a sister, Ema, aged 2. Brent will preach on Discipleship on Friday Evening. You should urge every Christian you know to attend these meetings with you. We will praise God together as we grow together in faith. I am excited about these sessions! I pray for record crowds!
