We do have so much to be thankful for! I am overjoyed by the spiritual climate of Christ’s Church on the hilltop. We have received so many spiritual blessings!
I am thankful that Chris and Mary Moon with us so faithfully. Their strengths in organization add so much to my dysfunctional world! We are seeing spiritual and numerical growth under their leadership. The Parent’s Day Out program is a complete success. I praise God for their help with all things necessary at VCCC.
Have you noticed that there are activities at the church nearly every day? This is becoming an increasingly busy place! Tuesday mornings begin with prayer time at 6 a.m. There is a Bible Study for the deaf that meets on Wednesday mornings, and attracts a good number of deaf people from the surrounding areas. The Women’s weekly Bible Study also meets on Wednesday. The church assembles together for Bible Study and activities for every age group on Wednesdays, as well. The Women’s Creative Fellowship is meeting every Thursday morning. Practices for the traditional and contemporary worship services are also held weekly. Fridays are busy with the Parent’s Day Out program. Soon we will be hosing various elementary students in the Snow Day Program. There is much to do, and you can join in on all the fun! Call the church office if you need more information.
I am thankful for the opportunity to give (November 20) towards reducing the Building debt. Every dollar given will save dollars by allowing for the early retirement of the loan. I am so thankful for our beautiful building, and pray, and give, for the day we will be debt free.
I am thankful for the immersions and transfers of ministry we have seen lately. Our church is growing! A new Sunday School Class, VCCC 101, an introductory class, will start in January. The youth classes are filling up. These are exciting days! It is hard to believe that we are scrambling for additional classroom space.
Mary and I began our seventh (7!) year of ministry here this month. Six years has gone by so quickly. We have seen God’s might works in so many areas. Genuine miracles have taken place. We are so thankful to be here, serving, with all of you. We have so much to be thankful for.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
