During the upcoming 6 weeks, as we prepare for the holiday season, we want to team together with the Ministerial Alliance in a food drive. We are targeting specific, non-perishable food items for the food box ministry, and assigning every church an area of need. This will allow us to have food boxes prepared with more balanced meals and better selection. We will be collecting for the holidays from now till Sunday, December 12th. On the 15th we will be assembling boxes at 9:00 a.m. at LifePoint Church. Boxes will be available for pick up from the 15th thru the 19th. It is always our goal to minister to the needs of our community especially during the holiday time of the year! Food Box: Non-Perishable supplies. We need 60 from each group. In addition to canned goods, we need… METHODIST = Paper towels & Toilet paper (4 pk) CALVARY = Spaghetti & Sauce (Ragu or similar brand) FIRST FAMILY = Peanut butter & Jelly FAITH = Hamburger helper & Mac & Cheese V.C.CHRISTIAN = Dessert mixes & Cookies LIFEPOINT = Cereal & Pop Tarts RIVERLAWN = Personal Hygiene Items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.) |
